WWE® SURVIVOR SERIES BREAKS ALL-TIME RECORDS

As word on the street goes, WWE had a historic night in Chicago for Survivor Series: WarGames with incredible stats. The 37th edition of Survivor Series took place last Saturday at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois; this is the third time the "Big 4" event occurred at this historic venue. Five matches were contested, including two brutal WarGames and two championship matches.
As reported by WWE, Survivor Series broke several records in viewership, gate, and merchandise. It had the largest gate of the premium live event, with 17,138 attendees at the historic Chitown arena, breaking the previous record set in Brooklyn back in 2021. In addition, the show also saw a 44% increase in viewership over the previous year, which had already been a record-breaking year. As a result of its partnership with Fanatics, Survivor Series sold more merchandise than any other in the history of the premium live event. Furthermore, sponsorship revenue gained 24% from 2022 to this year’s event.
We'd be remiss not to mention the return of R-Truth, the long-awaited return of Randy Orton, and the biggest highlight of the night, the return of CM Punk. After almost a decade of absence, the "voice of the voiceless" returned “home” to WWE. The moment went viral, generating a tremendous buzz across social media with over 71 million views across all platforms.
Survivor Series was a night of records, surprises, and dare we say…emotions. It was a night that proved WWE is still the best of the best in sports entertainment on the grandest stage of them all.
