The WWE Is Sorry That LaMelo Ball Said 'Nigga' On 'Raw'
In case you missed it, the WWE was broadcasting live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and with the Lakers picking up Lonzo Ball in the NBA Draft last week, the WWE decided to call up the insane LaVar Ball and the Ball boys (Lonzo and LaMelo) to be a part of last night's Raw during their Miz TV segment. Truth be told, most people just got geeked off of LaVar's insane ring entrance (and the fact that there was a Big Ball Brand graphic on the Titantron).
And while most people were wyling over LaVar taking off his shirt and challenging The Miz to a scuffle...
...it was LaMelo Ball dropping the word "nigga" twice(!) while on a live mic that got people riled up.
Now there was really no reason for LaMelo to be holding a mic, especially during a live broadcast, because he's a whole teenager, but that's on the WWE, who issued an apology through the L.A. Times.
"The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values,"they said. Mind you, this isn't even the first time the "n-word" was used on WWE programming.
It's funny to see that the WWE already edited that portion out of the segment in the YouTube clip.
Just saying. Don't expect LaMelo to be invited back any time soon, even if LaMelo says he had a "good experience."
Dead.
