This Nigga Ain't Jamaican?
What the shit is this? I mean, everyone has to do a lil' bit of lying or whatever to get ahead, but BBC News is reporting that Kofi Kingston ain't even Jamaican - this nigga is from Ghana! That's kind of a stretch, no? I imagine Vince figured "they can't tell an African nigga from a Jamaican nigga", and even though my Jamaican friends were kind of like "dude has a shitty accent", I didn't think dude was from Ghana.I can't knock dude's hustle - he's the fucking Intercontinental Champion! His star rose, even when Dance Hall music isn't really poppin'. My thing is, what's wrong with him being African? Barack Obama is half-African, they could've played that angle up. I guess they needed a smile-y face nigga to play up the angle, and Kofi was very quick to oblige. I do think it's odd that his family dimed him out, but the thing is, one has to imagine that their pride has been hit just a bit.
